In 2018, co-founders Dr. Amara Diallo (Togolese art historian) and Jabari Okoro (Nigerian tech innovator) witnessed the theft of a 14th-century Benin plaque at a Paris auction. This catalyzed their mission: to create a self-sustaining ecosystem where African artists control their legacy.
